Domaine Pignier, 'Sauvageon' 2016

Grape: Savagnin 

Vibe: Natural, textural

This has developed beautifully, still bone dry, but  it's now got a little meat to soften out Savagnin's occasional sharp edges. It's gone all golden in the glass, showing off plenty of white florals, fresh herbs, and a generous hit of honey. The acidity remains firm, so while it’s absolutely ready to drink, there’s still plenty of life left in it. Ooof. ABV: 13%
