Agrapart have become well-established at the pointy end of Grower Champagne enthusiasts' wish lists. They are based in the Grand Cru village of Avize, within the Côte des Blancs. This is prime Chardonnay territory. The farming here centres on the promotion of organic soil health, and they add organic compost to the ploughed soil each year to aid productivity and soil nutrient balance. This organic approach carries over to the winemaking. The wines are unfined and unfiltered, as well as being riddled by hand, an extremely labour-intensive approach.
