From a 2.5-hectare plot with a fancy topsoil mix of clay, loam, and sand, before the vines dig their roots into the limestone below. Just a casual 42 months of ageing here for a wine where everything has been turned up to 11. Autumnal leaning with rich golden fruit, backed by layers of minerals and a nutty twist. The acidity is bracing, but not overwhelming, and is very much needed to keep the perfect balance between tension and ripeness. Hedonistic. ABV: 14.3%
