The Tout Près vineyard was planted in 2001 and is the highest of the lot, with three distinct soil types - black volcanic soil over limestone; quartz gravel + red ironstone and iron in sandy loam. Lots to unpack there, but here's what it translates to: spicy, plummy fruit, a tight backbone of minerality and a sniff of undergrowth. Elite stuff. ABV: 13%
