Kalma is a fresh project out of Chiaramonte Gulfi, where Nikolas and Waiata are building something pretty magical! A small farm rooted in diversity and regenerative agriculture. Nikolas studied winemaking up in Germany and northern Italy, but things really kicked off for him during the 2015 harvest in Vittoria, working under Giusto Occhipinti at COS. From there, he and Waiata set off on a journey through France, Spain, and New Zealand, picking up experience at places like Terroir al Limit and Domaine Matassa. Now they’re back in Sicily, doing their own thing and doing it damn well.
