Originally started by the iconic Marcel, but it’s Marie Lapierre who’s now pushing out pristine yet playful wines from this cellar. Beaujolais Blanc is rarely this good. Cutting and fresh, showing a particularly skilled hand in what's becoming an ever-warming part of France. Direct press, mostly in vats, with just a touch of older wood to soften things slightly. All limes and florals with zero of the often associated 'weight'. A stone’s throw from Burgundy and this will easily give plenty of Bourgogne Blancs a run for their money… at half the cost.
