Château Yvonne was founded in 1997 when Yvonne and Jean-François took over and began replanting abandoned vineyards in Parnay, with guidance from the legendary François Foucault of Clos Rougeard. In 2007, Matthieu Vallée took the reins, keeping the name in tribute to its founders.

The domaine now spans 11 hectares, 3 of Chenin Blanc and 8 of Cabernet Franc, across 28 distinct plots in Parnay, Montsoreau, and Turquant. Farmed biodynamically since 2012 and with a light touch in the cellar, these are some of Saumur's finest.
