Yann makes Alsatian Grand Cru that actually tastes like one, wish I could say the same for all the 50+ GCs of the region... The length of this is quite frankly frightening. This is from a steep south facing parcel where the vines are planted on terraced hills. Soil is 'recooked' schist which is essentially extra hard and dense, making those roots dig deep. So spiced and smoky and salty. Drinking great atm but gonna live a long, long time. ABV:12.5%
