Purity over power is the name of the game chez Mayard. There’s serious work happening in the vines: agroforestry, soft pruning, cover crops, the whole lot. In the cellar, it’s a lighter touch (in a good way). No additives, no gimmicks, all in concrete to let that beautiful fruit shine through. Fruit-forward, full of florals and spice. I wish all CdR tasted like this. ABV: 13.5%
