Elias's wine feels distinctly Styrian, threading together everything I love from the region, yet at once entirely his own. There's the flinty edge of Werlitsch, the clarity and nerve of Tscheppe, and that wild, generous spirit you find in his parents’ wines. At both La Dive and Karakterre, these were the bottles insiders tipped as must-tastes. They more than delivered, and I’m sure the enviable hype will soon follow. But for now, these releases are quietly singin’ under the radar.

A 60/40 split, with the minority Muskateller adding a beautifully aromatic top note to the steely Sauvignon. It jumps out of the glass and lures you in. There’s tension, texture, and time only reveals more beautiful layers. Honestly, I can’t put into words how exhilarating these wines are. A must-taste for fans of all things Styrian. ABV:13%
