Envínate – literally meaning ‘wine yourself – is the combined project of four friends who met while studying oenology in Alicante. Their aim is to explore the ancient terrain of Ribeira Sacra, the Canary Islands and Almansa, and let each parcel speak for itself, using traditional farming and winemaking practices. The project currently comprises four sections – Lousas in Ribeira Sacra, Taganán and Benje in Tenerife, and Albahra in Almansa. The uniting through-line in all the wines is a foresty, earthy element, while still maintaining freshness and depth.
