Fabbrica di San Martino, Bianco 2024
Place: Tuscany, Italy
Grape: Trebbiano, Vermentino and Malvasia
Vibe: Textural
I still remember the first time I drank this... In a gorgeous little trattoria tucked inside the walled town of Lucca. Good times. Tasting it again recently transported me straight back. Salty and herbal, with a bit of texture from a day on skins, it shows both grip and flesh without sacrificing freshness or drive in this cooling vintage. The Italians really have mastered the art of gastronomic whites. Brb, I'm off to the fishmonger. ABV: 12%
