What a wine. A rarity in that this is dangerously drinkable despite being a full-on flor attack. This comes from the lieux-dits Au Barbi, Sauvagny and La Vasée, all on blue marl soils, and it matured the compulsory six years after the harvest under a veil of yeast. I had the pleasure of tasting this alongside some older bottlings from 1999 and 2000 and Marin said '16 was one of the top wines they've ever produced... Seeing how these age makes me wish I could transport 50 years into the future. You won't get yellow wine this good at this price anywhere else. Trust me. ABV: 15%
