One of the better Chardonnays I’ve tasted this year. From the first sip, it just smells expensive. Rich, yet chiselled ya know? This comes from the Mendoza clone AKA Gingin. Probably doesn’t mean much to the average punter, but for the super nerdy, it’s a cool little fact.

Think croissant and baked bread, with a savoury depth thanks to a long, slow basket press (the only one in Central Otago, btw). Just a dash of sulphur at bottling. Coming into a real sweet spot... Stock up. ABV: 14.5%
