Arthur Peltier and Achille Ravineau grew up in Cheverny and have been friends since their teens. Both studied winemaking in Beaune, then cut their teeth with Philippe Pacalet and Les Foulards Rouges, before heading home to work with local heroes Hervé Villemade and Clos du Tue-Boeuf. Then came the leap into their own project.

It started small in 2021: one hectare, one barrel, one tank and one tractor. They sold their fruit for the first two years while they found their feet, and bottled their first vintage in 2023. Today they farm 5 hectares over limestone and flint, planted to Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Gamay, Côt and old-vine Romorantin, with a little carefully sourced négoce fruit. Everything has been organic from day one, with certification on the way. Down the line they’d like to reach 10 to 12 hectares, but this will always be a local project, Cheverny made by people who grew up here.
