Tailleurs Cueilleurs, or "pruners-pickers," is a small, passionate project in the village of Saint-Jean-Ie-Vieux, on the northern side of Bugey. Here, Chloé and Jordan work magic across several small plots spread across three key areas of Bugey: Varey, Poncieux, and Dalivoy.

They farm with organic and biodynamic principles, focusing on nourishing the plants and soils. No ploughing here – they let the grasses grow wild, keeping the vineyards cool and helping to fight the effects of global warming. They’ve also started planting fruit trees to boost the already diverse ecosystem of flora and fauna in the area.

In the cellar grapes are de-stemmed, pressed and undergo different lengths of maceration depending on the cuvée. They don’t use any SO2 from harvest to bottling, and everything is aged in demi-muids. The wines are bottled straight from barrel by gravity with zero filtration.
