Vogelsang, one of the highest vineyards in the Mittelhaardt, here the soils are clay and loess with limestone marl components. Vines are 50 years old. This ferments in stainless with traditional foot treading in the mornings and pump-overs in the evening, macerated for just 12 days. Then moved to small barrique, 2-3 years of age, for 15 months. Single bottle of this ethereal Pinot. Rare as hen's teeth, and for good reason. Light but seemingly endless in the mouth. Just one. ABV:11%
