Vibe: Intoxicating + Oxy

Yikes. My favourite oxy wine. It's so well balanced, kissed by flor but still with plenty of verve underneath. You could say I'm biased, as I first drank this alongside a huge chunk of Comté at Maylis and JF Ganevat's cabin just above Rotalier. Sorry, you had to be there. Bragging aside, everyone who I've drunk this with subsequently has fallen just as hard. A surefire winner.

Fruit from L'Étoile, two years topped up, four years sous voile. Not enough characters to capture how beautifully complex this is. Poached pears, golden nuts, dried citrus, etc, etc. Drinking so well now, but it will age forever. ABV: 14%
